We all at Sankei would like to express our sincere sympathy, condolences and wishes for an early recovery to the survivors of earthquake and tsunami that devastated Northeastern Pacific coast on March 11, 2011.
None of Sankei and our material and component parts suppliers sustained any damage.
Supply of parts and production are operated as scheduled originally, and shipment will be made without delay from Kobe port where is about 600 kilometers from the region devastated.
It is also announced that all Sankei products are not affected by Fukushima nuclear power plant accident. Our Sankei plant is located in Shiga Prefecture where is about 520 kilometers from the Fukushima power plant and all components suppliers are located in Osaka where is about 600 kilometers from the power plant excepting some forging parts which are supplied from Niigata Prefecture where is about 200 kilometers from the power plant. We would like to say that all our products are safe and free from the radiation problem.
