2021 All Japan rally championship 2nd stage “Shinshiro Rally 2021″

The first round of the All Japan Rally Championship “RALLY OF TSUMAGOI” has been canceled,
and this “Shinshiro Rally 2021″ was held as the long-awaited first stage of this season.
“Škoda FABIA R5″, which became the champion vehicle in WRC2 participated from this season.
Due to the pandemic of COVID19, this stage was held without spectators, but it became to possible
for us to participate with the vehicle which had been desired to participate, so we can expect that
our team will win this season. In LEG1 on the first day of this stage, our team got 1st place in SS1
to SS3, but we had a flat tire on the right rear tire in SS4.Due to that accident, we finished in 5th
place overall about 20 seconds behind the top. However, we feel Fabia’s potential is high.
LEG2 on the second day was started under the rough spring storm, and the wiper of our vehicle
was accidentally stopped in SS5.The visibility of our driver was almost lost, and it was a big loss
although we finished the race. However, in SS6, he moved up to 3rd place overall with about
18 seconds behind 2nd place. SS7 and SS8 were canceled due to increasing the crash and,
heavy rain, we ended in 3rd place overall.
Our driver “Mr.Fukunaga” got 1st place of four SS out of six SS even though he had some troubles,
and he got a good feeling with his run. The collaboration between the experienced driver
Mr. Fukunaga and Fabia which has high potential, will take the topic of this season’s domestic
rally scene, and we have high expectations for it. We, Sankei Industry Co., Ltd., will support our
